This project marked my experience with typeface design, an endeavor I found immensely rewarding. The project involved the creation of a modular typeface utilizing a custom-designed toolkit of modular components. The design process commenced with hand-drawn sketches on graph paper and tracing paper, exploring a diverse range of letter widths and classifications. Following this exploratory phase, I transitioned to Adobe Illustrator to further develop the selected design directions. This stage presented unique challenges, with certain letters proving more complex to construct than others. Notably, the letter "t" posed a significant degree of difficulty.

Upon completing the initial typeface structure within Illustrator, I transitioned to Glyphs, a professional typeface design software, to refine the typeface for functional use. As a novice to Glyphs, I dedicated considerable effort to mastering adjustments to crucial typographic parameters such as leading and kerning. The culmination of this project resulted in the development of an elegant serif display typeface.
